The National Bureau of Investigation Clearance is one of the most essential documents to obtain when applying for a job, abroad work or education, and so on. It can also be used for private and public transactions like opening a bank account or obtaining a business permit. STEP 1. CLICK HERE TO ACCESS THE NBI CLEARANCE WEBSITE. (https://clearance.nbi.gov.ph/)
Continue by reading the Data Privacy Content and clicking “I agree.” Additional reminders will appear; please read them carefully before clicking on the “Close” button.
STEP 2. CREATE AN ACCOUNT.
To apply for a new regular NBI clearance, create a new account by clicking the “No” button (highlighted in GREEN), answering the question, “Do you have an NBI clearance issued from 2014 to the present?” Fill the online registration form to complete the process. Check that all of the information about you is correct.
Select the checkboxes (READ and ACCEPT & reCAPTCHA). Please review and agree to the terms of service.
Mark the “I’m not a robot” to verify your identity. Then click “SIGN UP”.
The terms of services will show, then click the “AGREE” button.
STEP 3. Enter the One-Time Password (OTP) that was sent to your registered mobile phone number and email address.
Verify that you have entered the correct mobile phone number and email address; otherwise, you will not receive your OTP.
STEP 4. SECURE YOUR ACCOUNT BY LOGGING IN.
Log in to your account using the email address and password you registered.
STEP 5. COMPLETE THE APPLICANT INFORMATION FORM.
Complete the applicant information form, making sure to double-check all of the information you enter to avoid problems. Then, click the button labeled “SAVE INFORMATION”.
STEP 6. REVIEW YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
Verify that all information is correct. Following that, click the “Submit” button.
STEP 7. SELECT “APPLY FOR CLARIFICATION”. (GREEN BOX)
STEP 8. SELECT THE TYPE OF YOUR ID AND THE NUMBER ON YOUR IDENTIFICATION.
Provide the type of identification and its ID number that you will be bringing to your appointment. You must bring at least two valid IDs as proof of identification.
STEP 9. SELECT AN NBI BRANCH AND A SCHEDULE THAT WORKS FOR YOU.
Select then your preferred NBI location and schedule. Blue-shaded boxes indicate open slots.
If you have already been paid and wish to change your branch of processing, you must notify your original branch. In the event that you are unable to attend your appointment, NBI will give you an additional 15 days to proceed and complete your application.
STEP 10. CHOOSE YOUR PREFERRED PAYMENT OPTION.

After selecting a payment method, a pop-up box with instructions will appear. You will be given a reference number, and you must use it to pay your fee to the chosen payment option.
Remember to write down this reference number. This number is required when paying the NBI clearance fee. It will also be used as a gate pass to enter the NBI clearance office.
Check your inbox for a payment confirmation email. You can also check it on your NBI Clearance account by logging in and looking to see if the status of your application has changed from “Pending” to “Paid.”
STEP. 11. AFTER YOU HAVE RECEIVED YOUR APPOINTMENT, PROCEED TO THE NBI CLEARANCE CENTER.
Please bring your application form or reference number with you. Proceed to the NBI clearance center of your choice to have your photo and fingerprint biometrics.
